Southsea Soy Wax Melts | 100g Clamshell

The Southsea seafront in early evening. The Solent on one side, Spinnaker Tower on the other. Salt, pebble shore, and the unmistakable mineral honesty of the south coast. Southsea captures that walk in a generous 100g clamshell of soy wax melts. Our hometown candle, in flame-free format. Hand-poured a stone's throw from the actual seafront.

A fresh, mineral British coastal wax melt

These luxury Southsea wax melts deliver the same hometown coastal fragrance as our hand-poured candle, in a flame-free format ideal for kitchens, hallways and homes that love the British coast. The opening is sea breeze, pebble shore and bergamot. The heart is salt-laced cedar, driftwood and geranium. The base is white musk, ambergris and warm amber.

Hand-poured in small batches in our Portsmouth studio using natural soy wax, with no phthalates, no parabens, and no shortcuts.

Fragrance notes
Top: Sea breeze, pebble shore, bergamot
Heart: Salt-laced cedar, driftwood, geranium
Base: White musk, ambergris, warm amber

Why a wax melt rather than a candle?
Wax melts are the practical, flame-free way to enjoy a fragrance throughout the home. They are perfect for households with small children, pets, or anyone who would rather not have a candle burning unattended. They are also a brilliant way to test a fragrance before committing to a full candle, or to scent a room you do not want to put a candle in, like a bedroom you sleep in or a bathroom while you are bathing. With approximately six to eight hours of throw per cube and multiple cubes per clamshell, a 100g pack delivers genuinely considerable value.

Why you'll love it

For Portsmouth and Hampshire households. Properly local fragrance for filling the kitchen, hallway, or living room with the place itself. Made here, by people who actually walk this seafront.

As a homesick gift. 100g of the south coast, beautifully presented. For the friend or family member who has moved away and misses it.

For coastal Airbnbs and holiday lets. If you let a property on the south coast, this melt earns its place. Guests walk in and feel they have arrived properly.

As a Father's Day or birthday gift. Particularly good for fathers connected to Portsmouth, the Royal Navy, or simply the British coast in general.

The details

  • 100g clamshell of pre-formed soy wax melt cubes

  • Approximately 6 to 8 hours of fragrance throw per cube

  • Generous 100g pack — significantly larger than the 50-70g standard

  • Reusable, recyclable clamshell packaging

  • Phthalate-free, vegan, cruelty-free

  • Hand-poured in small batches in Portsmouth, UK using natural soy wax

How to use your wax melts
Snap one cube from the clamshell and place it in the well of an electric or tealight wax melt warmer. Allow the cube to melt completely, releasing fragrance for six to eight hours. When the scent fades, simply allow the wax to harden, pop it out of the warmer, and replace with a fresh cube. There is no flame, no soot, and no waste. One cube is plenty for an average-sized room.

Pairs beautifully with

Southsea Candle — the full luxury experience, hand-poured into a 200g candle for evenings when you want the full coastal ritual.

Sea Salt & Wood Sage Wax Melts— herbaceous coastal counterpart, with crushed sage and wild herbs.

After The Storm Wax Melts — push towards mineral, post-rain freshness for properly atmospheric layering.
