Salt & Blossom started on a trestle table at Love Southsea Market, in the cold, hoping someone would stop long enough to pick up a candle and actually smell it.

That's still the test every scent has to pass. Would someone stop for this? Would they pick it up and want to take it home?

Every candle and wax melt is still hand-poured in Portsmouth, one batch at a time, because that's the only way we've ever known how to do it properly.

Why We Do This.

Good fragrance shouldn't be locked behind a premium price tag or saved for best occasions. It should be part of an ordinary Tuesday.

So we make scents for real life. Slow mornings. Long baths. The five minutes before everyone else wakes up.

What Goes In.

We use premium, ethically sourced waxes, including natural soy wax, because it burns cleaner and simply feels better in a home.

Every fragrance is 100% cruelty free and every product is made to a standard we'd want in our own house. No shortcuts, no compromise.

You'll still find us on a stall most weekends, so the market isn't just where we started, it's where we still are.
