The Cognac Hour Wax Melts

The Cognac Hour Soy Wax Melts | 100g Clamshell

Tobacco. Honey. Amber. The slow hour after everything else.

The Cognac Hour is named for a specific moment: the one that arrives after dinner is over, when there is no reason to be anywhere else, and the only thing that matters is what is in the glass and how the room smells.

It opens with smoky tobacco and golden honey, warmed by a hint of spice and lifted by just enough citrus to keep things interesting. The heart settles into tobacco leaves and sandalwood, grounding and rich. The base - amber, tonka, patchouli and lightly spiced honey - builds into something deep, unhurried and genuinely indulgent.

Smoke, sweetness and depth. The best kind of evening.

Hand-poured in small batches in our Portsmouth studio using natural soy wax, with no phthalates, no parabens, and no shortcuts.

What does it smell like?
Dark, rich and warm. Tobacco and honey at the core, amber and tonka giving it a sweetly resinous base. Not sharp, not sweet - properly balanced and deeply satisfying. For anyone who enjoys rich, oriental or tobacco-based home fragrance.

Fragrance notes
Top: Tobacco, honey, spice, light citrus
Heart: Tobacco leaves, woods, sandalwood
Base: Amber, tonka, patchouli, spiced honey

Why a wax melt rather than a candle?
Wax melts are the practical, flame-free way to enjoy a fragrance throughout the home. They are perfect for households with small children, pets, or anyone who would rather not have a candle burning unattended. They are also a brilliant way to test a fragrance before committing to a full candle, or to scent a room you do not want to put a candle in, like a bedroom you sleep in or a bathroom while you are bathing. With approximately six to eight hours of throw per cube and multiple cubes per clamshell, a 100g pack delivers genuinely considerable value.

Why you'll love it

  • A genuinely grown-up fragrance - dark, rich and complex without being heavy or headache-inducing.

  • The tobacco and honey combination is instantly distinctive and deeply satisfying in a warm room.

  • Hand-poured in the UK using natural soy wax blend, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

  • A perfect autumn and winter scent - also excellent year-round for anyone who gravitates to warm, oriental fragrance.

  • Six segments per pack for long, slow, indulgent evening fragrance.

The details

  • 100g clamshell of pre-formed soy wax melt cubes

  • Approximately 6 to 8 hours of fragrance throw per cube

  • Generous 100g pack - significantly larger than the 50-70g standard

  • Reusable, recyclable clamshell packaging

  • Phthalate-free, vegan, cruelty-free

  • Hand-poured in small batches in Portsmouth, UK using natural soy wax

How to use your wax melts
Snap one cube from the clamshell and place it in the well of an electric or tealight wax melt warmer. Allow the cube to melt completely, releasing fragrance for six to eight hours. When the scent fades, simply allow the wax to harden, pop it out of the warmer, and replace with a fresh cube. There is no flame, no soot, and no waste. One cube is plenty for an average-sized room.

Pairs Beautifully With
