The Study Soy Wax Melts | 100g Clamshell

Cedar, leather and spice. A room with books and decent furniture.

The Study is named for the kind of room that no longer exists in most houses but still exists in everyone's imagination - floor-to-ceiling shelves, worn leather, the smell of cedar and cardamom and something quietly warming underneath.

It opens with fresh cardamom and black pepper, immediately distinctive and lightly spiced. The heart is patchouli, cedar and cinnamon - earthy, warm and properly grounding. The base of leather, tobacco and amber is where this fragrance earns its name: rich, unhurried and deeply satisfying.

Confident without being heavy. Masculine without being exclusionary. A scent for anyone who likes their home to smell like it has history.

Hand-poured in small batches in our Portsmouth studio using natural soy wax, with no phthalates, no parabens, and no shortcuts.

What does it smell like?
Spiced wood, warm leather and cedar. Not sweet, not sharp - properly grounded and deeply atmospheric. For anyone who loves woody, earthy or masculine home fragrance.

Fragrance notes
Top: Cardamom, black pepper
Heart: Patchouli, cedar, cinnamon
Base: Leather, tobacco, amber

Why a wax melt rather than a candle?
Wax melts are the practical, flame-free way to enjoy a fragrance throughout the home. They are perfect for households with small children, pets, or anyone who would rather not have a candle burning unattended. They are also a brilliant way to test a fragrance before committing to a full candle, or to scent a room you do not want to put a candle in, like a bedroom you sleep in or a bathroom while you are bathing. With approximately six to eight hours of throw per cube and multiple cubes per clamshell, a 100g pack delivers genuinely considerable value.

Why you'll love it

  • A properly atmospheric masculine fragrance - cedar, leather and spice with depth and staying power.

  • The cardamom and black pepper opening is immediately distinctive and unlike anything else in the range.

  • Hand-poured in the UK using natural soy wax blend, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

  • Excellent for studies, home offices, living rooms and any space where you want warm, earthy depth.

  • Six segments per pack for extended, grounding fragrance.

The details

  • 100g clamshell of pre-formed soy wax melt cubes

  • Approximately 6 to 8 hours of fragrance throw per cube

  • Generous 100g pack - significantly larger than the 50-70g standard

  • Reusable, recyclable clamshell packaging

  • Phthalate-free, vegan, cruelty-free

  • Hand-poured in small batches in Portsmouth, UK using natural soy wax

How to use your wax melts
Snap one cube from the clamshell and place it in the well of an electric or tealight wax melt warmer. Allow the cube to melt completely, releasing fragrance for six to eight hours. When the scent fades, simply allow the wax to harden, pop it out of the warmer, and replace with a fresh cube. There is no flame, no soot, and no waste. One cube is plenty for an average-sized room.
